ABOUT ME

I first discovered an interest for photography in high school, but I fell madly in love with it as I entered motherhood later in life. Documenting life has always tapped into a creative part of my heart. When I became a mom I began to look at life differently. I’d examine for hours the movement and facial details of my baby. As my baby grew into a toddler I desired to always remember those firsts, and not just what they looked like but how they FELT.

As my heart grew my vision, creativity and passion for the way I photograph moments evolved. It became deeply emotional- to the point where I no longer just looked at images but I could feel the exact moment. I want to capture that feeling, emotion, moment and movement in a way that is genuine and unique to you and your loved ones. I want you to look at your images, travel through time to that moment and feel every part of it.

I really try to step into to each client’s world. I never want for anyone to feel uncomfortable. I spend a good amount of time getting to know my clients, talking to them while we shoot and playing with their children. I really believe that from this, real connection is revealed. It’s real life, interactive, emotional and honest- not posed. I want for clients to look at their photos down the line and remember the experience of the session–that it was designated time with their loved ones just being connected with one another, and captured in a frame.

When I’m not working you can find me outdoors with my family! I have four young kiddos + a super fun & supportive husband. We take full advantage of San Diego’s amazing year round sunshine so adventure is always on our to do list. Our free time is usually jam packed with bikes, parks, the beach, good food & exploring together. Since photography fills my heart, you will usually find me chasing my family around with a camera documenting our every adventure!
